Mr. THE NAME WAS REMOVED,

The concern shown below was forwarded to me and hopefully I can provide some additional information that may answer your question.  Hollis Sullivan does not have, nor has applied for, any permit in the City of Arlington.  To date, the nearest gas well application to the intersection of Matlock and Harris is located at 1101 West Harris Road, between Matlock and Cooper, and has been applied for by Chesapeake Energy.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or visit the city’s webpage at www.arlingtontx.gov for additional information.
Regards,

Darren Groth

Subject: Hollis Sullivan Drilling Permit

Dear Sir/Madam,

I live in the LOCATION WAS REMOVED addition of southeast Arlington.  I was just curious to know if Hollis Sullivan has a gas drilling permit for the northwest corner of Harris and Matlock.  I could not find it on your PDF map.

Thank you.

Ask your district city council representative about the oil & gas drilling here in Arlington.  Here is your chance to get some answers.  Please join me at the meeting for District 2.  If needed, I could attend the District 3 meeting as well.  BTW, the East side of Matlock is District 3 and West of Matlock is District 2.   Click on the date for more information.

POSAR Members,

Please check your e-mail for an important message from your POSAR leadership.  Your participation is requested.

As to our progress:

  • We are growing exponentially.
  • We have gathered the contact information from multiple oil and gas companies.
  • We will initiate the negotiation process soon.
  • There is no deadline to sign up.

As to the last point, please do not feel pressured into signing.  The deadline is company specific.  To compare, the ‘Back to School’ sale will end tomorrow – that does not mean you will not be able to get that much needed computer anymore!!!!!

Post the ‘Do not Disturb’ sign.  If they call you, ask them to take you off the call list.  If they call again, report them to the Texas Railroad Commission as well as the Federal Communication Commission (FCC).
